000 – CATCC – Course purpose

This course is based (mainly) on the T-45 CV procedures doctrine (CNATRA P-816 01-14). The content heavily focuses on CV radio communications such as pre-flight, deck operations, departure and recovery operations. Due to the nature of the simulation some visual signs like hand signals might require verbal transmission that may not exist in real life. The following content narrowed down to 11 Tactical Strike Group needs and its current size, allowing a single person to be able to manage both departure and recovery operations.
