RTC – MOD-05 – Pt.03 – When and Who Talks to the ADC

Only the Formation Lead should communicate with the Aerodrome Controller, others should monitor.

The Aerodrome Controller should be contacted before any part of a formation enters the runway, or if outside the Aerodrome’s airspace (Military Air Traffic Zone, MATZ), before entering that airspace.

NO use of the runway or airspace should be conducted without authority from the ADC.
